Christopher Lee passes away

2015-06-11 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 35 Comments
Legend of cinema and unlikely metal singer Sir Christopher Lee has died, according to reports. The actor died on Sunday after being admitted to hospital suffering from respiratory problems and heart failure. He was 93 years old, having celebrated his birthday in hospital.
Among his many most famous roles were that of Count Dracula and Scaramanga, although later fans would remember him as Saruman in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Count Dooku in the Star Wars franchise. In later life he would also release two heavy metal albums as well as two EPs, the last single being released in December 2014.

Can only wish to live a life as full and complete as this dude. His WWII record alone is bonkers.

I feel like he'd rather be remembered for his acting career and life in that respect than for his actions in World War II. I don't imagine many people who have lived as long as he did would look back on the age of war too kindly.

Such an awesome guy and actor. Watched a couple interviews a while back and he's a super nice guy. And not many people can say they were doing metal at the age of 90. Will definitely be missed.
