Failure stream new album 2015-06-24 by Masochist | 12 Comments | It's been 19 years since we've heard anything from the space rockers who left us stranded on Fantastic Planet, but the highly influential, yet oft overlooked, 90's band Failure has finally returned to follow up that celebrated LP with The Heart Is A Monster. The album is set to drop on June 30th, but Entertainment Weekly has put a stream of the record on their website a week early.
The album was produced by lead singer and sometimes-guitar/sometimes-bass player Ken Andrews. It picks up right where Fantastic Planet left off, with a track called "Segue 4" referencing the three Segue tracks from the previous record, and an overall sonic soundscape that might have you thinking that The Heart Is A Monster was recorded 19 years ago.
