Yeah musically I like this but those cleans are pure garbage.

While I agree that the cleans are poor (terrible actually) and prevent any enjoyment I could have got from this song, you don't have to use that term if you 'hate saying it'.
This isn't YouTube, you're not 14 (I assume), please be critical rather than scathing for the sake of it.

This is just so.. uninspired.. its so generic.. first Bullet and now A Skylit Drive.. I don't mind a bit of Skylit but this is just dull. And that intro riff.. oh god that was pathetic.. the rest of the 'lead' is okay but the intro is so boring and lacking any umph at all

Singer looks like tilda swinton to me

He's a great vocalist surely always the shining spot of this band but the mixing and production is awful they completely smothered his voice in this song I don't get why? I really don't like it much.

Song is alright. I actually can't wait for this, hoping the drummer will bring some 'Creatures' vibes to this album.

You're certainly assuming a lot with this comment.

Durrzo, I should clarify, in my experience, that's what it USUALLY means.

I think it's a bit much to say there's a limited framework of what makes good cleans - but the trend of Tom DeLonge and Claudio Sanchez making helium babies who sing about war and being threatening is getting a bit old.
As well as ridiculous.

la quay was a fun drummer; the best part of this now hilarious band.

What in particular makes high pitched voices is ridiculous? And if you're tired of it, that's your issue, it's not a commentary on the inherent worth of the pitch of a voice.
