ALL HAIL BIFFY CLYRO!
|
| |
Omg omg omg omg I love Biffy Clyro!!! Never liked any of their albums the first year or two they come out but I force myself to listen to the albums once a month until they click and then I listen every day. Hopefully I hate this new stuff so that I know I'll love it in the future?!???!!?!!!

It's a hell of a lot more interesting than anything off Opposites. Tentative hope.
|
| |
wtf storm man
|
| |
Feels like a old biffy meets new biffy..
|
| |
Worst band
|
| |
I know! Biffy is the most awkward relationship my ears have with music.
|
| |
I prefer old Biffy to new. This was good though
|
| |
This didn't grab me. New album could be OK I guess
|
| |
Puzzle is my jam. Saw these guys open for Manchester Orchestra around the time that came out and it was impressive enough to pique my interest. It's honestly the only album of theirs I will put on now and again.

dbizzles, #1 dog, jam Vertigo of Bliss
|
| |
I love this band unequivocally after their last 3 albums, but I've never gotten around to hearing their independent stuff before their move to Warner. Guess I'll have to do that v soon...
|
| |
Do it. All the Way Down, Liberate the Illiterate, Only One Word Comes to Mind... so many of their best tracks are from the first 3
|
| |
first three are by far their best albums
|
| |
Vertigo of Bliss is fantastic, but since Puzzle they've kinda gone a bit mediocre, this doesn't seem like an improvement to me
|
| |
Definitely different than Opposites. Intro reminds me a little bit of the Infinity Land days, but still. Not the best they've done, but that bass is awesome. Still excited for a new album from them. They haven't let me down yet.

| |
Not feeling this. Haven't really felt them for quite a while though, as evidenced by my neg-ridden reviews of their last two albums (in fairness, the Only Revolutions one does deserve the negfest). It seems even more pedestrian than the previous stuff, but maybe I'm just too distracted by that cringeworthy straight quarter note bass staccato bit that shows up both here and in that new song they played live.
The first three records are where it's at. You can also have a fun time trying to reconstruct the tracklist of what would have been Puzzle (from between the actual Puzzle tracklist and the plethora of B-sides) before label officials stepped in.

| |
Decent.
|
| |
One of those weird bands where I prefer the newer stuff to the old stuff. Great live too, if you can see them in a smaller venue.
|
| |
Thanks for the rec, porcupine. I'll have to see what albums I have of theirs on the ol' iPod Classic.
|
| |
I like all of their albums, even though Infinity Land is my favorite.
That song is pretty fucking good tho
