Posted my opinions on the Arche thread. Nice song but not good enough for their usual standards of brilliance however the video is mindblowing.

The video is way better than the song, which in and of itself is good, but not terribly interesting by Diru standards. If it does end up being on the new album, I doubt it's gonna be a proper representation of the overall sound of the offering; said that before in the Arche thread. Oh, and...

Definitely a cool song, but it doesn't blow my mind like similar songs from the past few albums (Different Sense, Revelation of Mankind) did. I love the drumming though, and the video is amazing.

Yeah you're right Mabbitt, which is a great sign in my opinion. VK bands with actual substance is rare and a beautiful thing to see in action.

After like 10 listens I think I can finally see the main reason why I think this song despite being a nice song is a drop in quality: The guitars. It sounds so lifeless for a song where the drums, vocals and bass are firing all cylinders. This is just a single version though so there's hope with the album mix (like the Rinkaku snare was fixed in the album version) and it'll be better with context.

I just never watch it since their non VK videos aren't really worth watching.

Dir En Grey videos in general tend to be cut way too fast. But some of the Gauze ones are really good in spite of that.

I kinda like the one for "The Unraveling", even if it's so simple.

I like the Different Sense one, The Unraveling one is fine. Yeah they do that a bunch in their videos but a bunch of their videos (like this one) are incredible.

I've said this before, but I really wanted a better clip for my fav Diru song.

I remember the video to 304 to be very atmospheric. it actually inspired me to write a short story if I remember correctly, so that's always a very good sign.

Nah, especially not in "Different Sense". The imagery used in live shows is fantastic, though. They could've centered the video only around that.

I think it fits with the lyrics, mutation from nuclear fallout and all but yeah it's there for obvious shock factor.

I'd say the Rasa performance of it is 2nd place to it, lovely blue tinge and monster performance.
