band should have foad a long time ago. even better never been founded.
| |
There's probably worse stuff on the radio
| |
this actually isn't too bad, at least for Seether standards.
| |
"band should have foad a long time ago. even better never been founded."
wow, never read that before
Maybe I'll listen to this later, but can a song title get any more unimaginative? It's like they are actively trying to blend into the alt rock stodge.
| |
they did that a LONG time ago
| |
Of course they did.
| |
Nothing special.
| |
Single sounds like Stinkfist by Tool
| |
Not bad but it really never goes anywhere.
Also I'm pretty sure they stole a Chevelle riff for this, it sounds really familiar.
| |
For real, their Careless Whisper cover is pretty good
| |
"Also I'm pretty sure they stole a Chevelle riff for this, it sounds really familiar."
My thoughts exactly
| |
Well Chevelle stole a riff from Deftones
| |
*Chingo Mandingo and the Deft Ones
| |
You gotta ching the ding nom sayin
| |
This is great
| |
The world's second most generic thing is the song title "Let You Down"...the first is Johnny Craig's vocal vibratio lol.
| |
Chorus is nice, rest of the song is forgettable.
| |
This is okay but nothing special. And yes one riff sounds exactly like Take Out the Gunman from Chevelle.
| |
yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
| |
I'm surprised people still care about Seether
I gotta say though, that artwork is pretty cool.
| |
Woah actually not terrible. Certainly have heard worse this week.
| |
"The prophets of music are back" - youtube
| |
Those people on YouTube really do love this band to a disgusting degree.
| |
Where's Pete? Someone should tell him more people are ripping off his Helmet ripping off.
| |
Fine Again was always an all around solid song!
| |
the music video's a e s t h e t i c af tho
| |
"The world's second most generic thing is the song title "Let You Down"...the first is Johnny Craig's vocal vibratio lol."
*Jonny
also, what does Jonny Craig have to do with this?
| |
I love that album cover. too bad it's wasted on this band.
| |
Words As Weapons was great, I wish the band applied whatever inspired that song more. This is forgettable, which is sad 'cause I grew up on these guys and always kind of hoped they'd put out at least one other decent album.
| |
Feel a Chevelle vibe on this. Not that bad really.
| |
"Sounds like Stinkfist by Tool"
Spot on wtf.
| |
That Stinkfist comparison is spot the fuck on. Seether do Tool vocal mixings bad tho
| |
i think the album cover is awful. cool that people are liking it though. music video is rad
| |
It's inoffensive Seether music eh
| |
Pretty sure this song is called "Take out the gunman"
| |
Radio rock is really boring.
| |
Not chevelle
| |
the lead single off their last album sounded like Mad World and now this one sounds like a mix of Stinkfist and Take Out the Gunman. are these guys capable of coming up with their own ideas?
| |
Haven't heard these guys since Karma and Effect (Remedy was one of my jams in high school). This is pretty run of the mill, mildly enjoyable but nothing special. Song reminds me of Alice in Chains and video reminds me of Rob Zombie. Maybe Shaun and Rob should team up? lol
| |
Sounds nothing like Tool or Chevelle. Clean out your ears, wtf.
| |
you're right it sounds like Nickelback
| |
This is Adam Gontier-era Three Days Grace trying to play homage to Tool's "Stinkfist". Specifically, the vocals remind me of the intro to Three Days Grace's "Chalk Outline".
| |
@CoreyHaimsGhost: the riff definitely bears a strong resemblance to songs by both of those bands
| |
Agreed.
| |
Reminds me of Chevelle as well.
| |
Which is probably why this is one of their better songs.
| |
Sounds nothing like either bands. Lmfao this site is full of morons
| |
No one is saying that Seether sounds like Tool or Chevelle; they're saying that elements of this song sound borrowed from songs by those bands. The comparisons aren't even meant to be a compliment. It shows how ridiculously derivative Seether is. The riff is nearly the same as the one used in Tool's "Stinkfist" except for the fact that the final note is drawn out.
| |
debating over whether or not to even bother pressing play
| |
Don't do it, or do do it.
I reserve the right to judge your choice harshly.
| |
Heh doo doo
| |
It won't hurt but you won't be any wiser afterwards
| |
Just listened to a leaked track and it has the best 20 seconds of any Seether song ever. The rest of it was lame though
| |
It sounds like a rip off of "take out the gunman" which in turn was/is a ripoff of tool's stinkfist!
| |
This sounds like TOOL - STINKFIST
| |
