oh yeah
| |
OH FUCK
| |
Thought I was the only one who cared about these guys. Decent tune, reminds me of The Great Fire.
| |
This was okay. Not going to change any minds about the band.
| |
Holy shiiiiit, forgot about these guys. Sounds like they haven't lost a step, but I'll admit it's a bit too repetitive
| |
fuck YESSSSS
MARTA is a GODDESS
| |
Meh
| |
Is she still hot is the question
| |
yeah
and so is this song
| |
Repetitive, but it's a promising performance. I'd say there's elements from the band's early days but mixed with the more grandiose style of Declaration. Stoked for the return, especially since The Iron Son was pretty bland.
| |
Stoked as fuck about these guys coming back.
| |
thanks for the work out reminder.
| |
Is this like Declaration?
| |
Their drummer was underrated AF. Best part of the band.
| |
and I HOPE its like Declaration.
| |
I was just listening to them yesterday lol, AND they put Love in the album title OMG
| |
This is how you make a comeback underoath haha. Sounds like classic Bleeding through , hopefully we get some more dynamics on other tracks.
| |
yup, sounds like bleeding through
| |
I did not miss these guys
| |
they just released the video for this today too
| |
god why are their choruses so fucking boring
their songs are like weird cadbury eggs, where the outsides are delicious but the insides are fucking dogshit
| |
Love the bridge. Sounds pretty good. Metalcore isn't really my thing these days, but I'll check this album for sure. Used to jam This is Love and The Truth A LOT.
| |
The Truth is one of my favorite metalcore albums ever. This seems to implement their black metal side (which i always feel like their fans/media outlets really overstated compared to much much BM influence they actually had) better than anything they've done before.
| |
it does
until you get to their braindead choruses
| |
yeah the choruses are definitely not their strong suit ... except on the truth ;]
| |

agreed
kill to believe is the catchiest chorus on that album.
| |
hard agree... love that chorus
| |
Yeah Kill to Believe rules. Think I'm about to jam The Truth in a minute.
And I'd say their choruses have always been more of a mixed bag than anything. On the same album there's usually songs that have really good choruses and others with fairly weak ones. I'm guessing this album will probably be similar. I don't particularly mind the chorus here but it certainly could be better.
| |
Wow I haven't heard Kill To Believe in fuckin ages...yeah it is a catchy ass song. Gonna listen now.
| |
I dig it.
| |
yeah me to...tbh back in the days I was crazy about The Truth and This Is Love, This Is Murderous. Didn't heard anything from them after. Their sputs avg's are just awful...
| |
chorus is fire this time around.
dig this dude as a vocalist for some reason. When he released album with Suffer Well I think they were called, had some really memorable choruses. Pretty standard high school metalcore shit, but just sounds way less feminine.
On the down side, chugs in this song are kinda annoying. sometimes its just like: "that's the best you came up with?" and then it stays for the entire song. but ya, chorus still gets me nostalgic and fired up so I'm hyped to see if album has a few bangers.
| |
I actually really liked that Suffer Well album, still spin it from time to time. But yeah Brandan's always been a really good vocalist. Always been one of my favs.
