Good Tiger New EP Redux 2019-02-12 by OwMySnauze | 14 Comments | Good Tiger will be releasing a remix EP entitled Redux to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of We Will All Be Gone. The EP features remixes from the band and others.
Guitarist Dez Nagle- “Track one was done by the band and set off the idea of doing the EP. Thankfully, we know a number of extremely talented musicians who could be involved on the EP. There are remixes by Periphery guitarist and electronic artist in his own right, Jake Bowen, L.A producer Ahh-Ceh, and NYC based post-rock electronic group, Infinity Shred. We felt a simplified acoustic arrangement of “Salt” would be a great way to wrap everything up. It was extremely fun revisiting these tracks and seeing how other artists we admire approach reimagining the original compositions we had made on WWABG.“
The EP will be released March 22nd.
“Redux” track listing:
1. Such a Kind Stranger (Redux)
2. Float On (Jake Bowen Remix)
3. Blueshift (Ahh-Ceh Remix)
4. Grip Shoes (Infinity Shred Remix)
5. Salt of the Earth (Acoustic)

but that album sucked
| | | But now it's R E M I X E D
| | | "but that album sucked"
No it didn't
| | | i literally saw infinity shred at a horse the band concert like a few years ago. small world lol
| | | Should be a fun listen to hold us over till their next album
| | | Salt is such a banger, can't imagine what it'd sound like acoustic but I'm excited
| | | Yeah I was painfully underwhelmed by that album. Saw them once opening for ABR and BTBAM (after The Faceless bailed...what crowd were they after?) and it wasn't very good. I had a friend who'd never heard of any of the members and he was kind of saying they sucked so I didn't want to gush over Rudinger or Elliot Coleman or The Safety Fire. Such talented people but the music didn't click for me live or on record. Very middle of the road background music.
| | | Just comes down to personal taste. You either love or hate Elliot’s vocals.
| | | Their album was definitely underwhelming but it had some highlights
| | | I absolutely love the record. I noticed many in the WWALbG forum found the album growing on them recently.
| | | Felt WWALBG lacked the punch their debut had
| | | Yeah, I like the debut more overall, but WWALBG definitely grew on me.
| | | New Safety Fire, please!
| | | Lol, every time I see someone moan about Safety Fire I'm reminded of Devin Townsend's response to people asking if/when SYL are going to get back together.
The answer is never. Cos only 10 people showed up to the shows and bought music when the band was around so why would they get it back together again?
