might be the weakest track so far, but I still loved this
| |
This is pretty nice, will probably work better within the flow of the album
| |
I dig it
| |
So hyped for this album!
| |
Wow three songs out of nowhere and they are pretty much all solid. This has potentialllllllll
| |
Pretty good song as usual. Though landslide defeater is the obvious banger from the three already released singles
| |
okay after three listens this song is pretty solid honestly the guitar work mainly is just oooo
| |
I like the laid-back nature of this. Like Pika said, it will probably break-up the album nicely.
| |
Three solid singles. Definitely my least favorite so far, but not bad by any means. I see modern NJ getting a lot of hate but I just can’t grasp why. They’re pretty much on top when it comes to metalcore. Can’t wait for the full album!
| |
^ nah that’s etid
| |
Polar Similar is their highest rated album on the site so I don't know what you're talking about
| |
wow this sounds like breaking benjamin....but sick
| |
thats an odd comparison but I almost get it
| |
hype
| |
Not their best but certainly a decent song, looking forward to the record!
| |
This feels like old school Underoath with a Nirvana influenced sound, channeled through Norma Jean's distinct sound. I love it. All three singles so far are pretty solid.
| |
This rules fucking hard, not sure why the tepid response.
| |
good stuff
| |
Definitely has quite a bit of alt-metal texture to some parts. Like has been stated above; almost Breaking Benjamin-like but somehow it works.
Definitely looking forward to this record.
| |
The "Sword In Mouth, Fire Eyes" of this album. Band has yet to let me down on an album, I expect it will be my AOTY
| |
NJ and ETID rule the scene still, confirmed.
| |
Man this shit is FIRE
| |
Yeah I'm getting Underoath vibes from this, funny how I'm also getting NJ vibes from Disambiguation. Modern NJ rules hard, although I'd say I prefer older stuff lately, especially Redeemer. More noise, less technical.
| |
I'm not gonna listen to this song but I'm already declaring this my AOTY based on the past two singles and the insane momentum they've had the past few albums
| |
This dude has always had strong melodies despite not a large range singing wise. I also don't know how he hasn't vomited out his vocal chords yet.
| |
Cory's voice is immortal.
| |
Wasnt into the previous two singles but this is great. Only issue I take with it is that the chorus doesnt pop out as much as id like it to.
| |
tis alright

track ruled

"Yeah I'm getting Underoath vibes from this, funny how I'm also getting NJ vibes from Disambiguation"
I know Daniel Davison (Ex NJ drummer) did drums on Disambiguation after Aaron left Underoath, so that's probably where the comparison comes from. Shame that Erase Me was so underwhelming, if they'd carried on in the direction they were going before their 2013 split, Underoath would definitely be on the same level as NJ and ETID are right now.

| |
"NJ and ETID rule the scene still, confirmed."
not while Converge is around
| |
"I know Daniel Davison (Ex NJ drummer) did drums on Disambiguation after Aaron left Underoath"
and also their guitarist did work on Redeemer
| |
I've been rinsing the fuck outta this song for the past week or so. Its buried itself deep into my brain and now I cant go an hour without it popping into my head.
| |
That well-placed pinch harmonic in the outro MMMfff
