Not as good as the last one but still pretty decent.
| |
Let’s fucking gooooo
| |
Excellent again. Almost lost me at the bridge but the chorus brings it all back perfectly.
| |
this is amazing holy shit
| |
Yeah not as good as the first single but that one fuckin ripped so
| |
The mix (particularly the guitars) on these new songs is so much better than anything on the last album. Really excited to hear the full thing.
| |
they've upped their songwriting game massively and they were already amazing songwriters
hype hype hype hype hype
| |
this band is great, I'm excited about the new album
| |
"Not as good as the last one but still pretty decent."
uhh I wasn't super into the last one but I absolutely adored this, that chorus gave me chills. my first VOLA album was Applause and I loved the shimmery spaciness of that album, and this seems like a much more cohesive blend of that with their heavier stuff
if the new album has more melodies like this it'll be amazing
| |
Impressed that they manage to create such a fresh but distinct sound for the 3rd time in a row. Really looking forward to the new release, AOADC was awesome.
| |
agree that the mix is phenomenal too
| |
the riff in the second verse is so cool
| |
yeah i like this more than head mounted sideways but both are bangers
| |
this album's shaping up to be really, really good
| |
Danish POGGERS you mean. I got goosebumps
| |
progchamp
gotta hear this
| |
Fuck yes. Another single that's miles better (imo) from anything on the last album. This sounds more Inmazes to me, but they've become better songwriters too.
| |
"uhh I wasn't super into the last one but I absolutely adored this, that chorus gave me chills."
The chorus was great but...the transition to it felt a little clunky, like the chorus was written for a completely different song. But I'm still digging it and looking forward to this album.
| |
The transition to the chorus is bizarre...
| |
I find the bridge is clunky but the transition from bridge to chorus is fine. Do people mean they don't like the bridge to the chorus?
| |
Yeah the bit where the instruments drop out and then come back in for the first chorus. It's like the song modulates to a different key for the chorus but the key change doesn't feel organic to me, at least not the first time around.
| |
yeah I hear it now, totally
| |
Doesn't bother me personally, they did a similar thing on their debut so it's not really new for their sound I suppose
| |
god damn this is good
| |
What a fantastic track. My problem with the first track is that it dragged a little but this was perfect.
| |
Really awesome track, that chorus is pure earworm.
| |
Dudes fucking dudes never sounded so good
| |
yeah that chorus is really odd, kind jarring
| |
Legendary
| |
Would like some screams like on the first album, but still a good and catchy song
| |
How can other djent bands even compete
These guys created a great formula of heavy djent chugs combined with poppy but not cheesy choruses
| |
totally disagree about the transition - 100% worked and transitions back into the main riff wonderfully
repeated listens proves this song to be really fluid, honestly think it's one of their best tracks and that's saying something
| |
my current SOTY so far right here. so damn catchy
| |
also disagree about the transition complaints. imo it builds up and emphasizes the main chorus riff quite well
| |
s p a c e y affffffffffffffff boys
prefer this 3x to the first single
love the catchiness, love the spacey, love that fat drop
| |
yeah you could say the chorus comes out of a bad transition or you could say it's a perfectly executed hard pivot, and I'm gonna go with the second one
| |

| |
I fucking love the transition to the chorus. To each their own I suppose
| |
I agree about this being one of their best songs period. The transition to the chorus seems fine to me.
| |
bop
| |
hits hella hard
| |
djents
| |
These guys have been one of my favorites from the past few years. Loved applauded. These last two singles for the new album have been great.
| |
Love the production; that is basically the only thing these guys lacked imo...
| |
I thought the production on Applause was pretty good but some people had issues with the drums on it, so maybe this one will make everyone happy.
| |
Killer song, new album is shaping up to be another hit
