Black metal band Mork from Halden in Norway is about to release its fifth album entitled Katedralen on 5th of March. The release will be done under Peaceville records. Preorders can be made on their bandcamp page: https://peaceville.bandcamp.com/album/katedralen The band is active since 2004 and is taking influence from the early days of Darkthrone. Katedralen showcases some amazing guest appearances ,from Nocturno Culto from mighty Darkthrone to Dolk from Kampfar & also Eero Pöyry from the funeral doom giants Skepticism. The label also put forward already two of the songs from the upcoming album : The full song list was also released: 1.Dødsmarsjen 2.Svartmalt 3.Arv 4.Evig Intens Smerte 5.Det Siste Gode I Meg 6.Født Til Å Herske 7.Lysbæreren 8.De Fortapte Sjelers Katedral The band sole member is Thomas Eriksen whom made a walk through that led to the creation of this album: 'The album title “Katedralen” (cathedral) is actually an old one I’ve had laying around since the early days of Mork. I always had a vision of a vast desolate cold and dead land and a gigantic cathedral where lost souls are kept for all eternity. I remember fantasizing it being a concept EP, I suppose much like “Det Svarte Juv” was envisioned back in the day. However, that one did not end up as a concept album. “Katedralen” is not a concept album either, but I see now that all the tracks tie neatly together after all. In the end all the lost souls ends up at the base of the massive cathedral.'
