This band now literally has more in common with The Faceless than The Faceless does with themselves. Or should I say himself.

| |
Who isnt an ex member of the faceless at this point?
|
| |
pretty awesome song
|
| |
zzzzzzzzzz
|
| |
The non-heroin addicted version of The Faceless
|
| |
lmao we've come full circle to a Planetary Duality worship band that is 3/5 ex-Faceless members.
that being said this rules
|
| |
Faceless no more?
|
| |
it's an amazing year for lovers and haters of tech-death
|
| |
This is crazy bad, lol
|
| |
I wish this was better
|
| |
That main riff sounds like something off of kids bop or some shit.

“That main riff sounds like something off of kids bop or some shit.”
You sure do see some weird comments on this site.
|
| |
Where?
|
| |
This is what your parents think tech death sounds like
|
| |
poop song
|
| |
woo boy that production is drier than the sahara desert
song is meh but that's what happens when you devote your band's entire purpose to emulating one specific album by an entirely different band
|
| |
quality burn secondsun, thanks for saving me the time to check
|
| |
It's not bad, but it isn't worth spinning more than once.
|
| |
I think it's a ton of fun and I've heard it like 5 times so far
|
| |
Song is definitely awesome and infectious. One of the funnest metal tracks I’ve heard in a while. Faceless comparisons are off-base and lazy and simply exist because they share(d) members
|
| |
it's a bop
|
| |
that was awful
|
| |
tech death, more like tech deaf
|
| |
production fucking blows
Song itself is uninspired and generic at best, but it aint bbad
|
| |
I somewhat enjoyed their first two releases but this didn't do much for me.
|
| |
Sounds a lot like Martyr / Illogicist, with French/Canadian bounce
|
| |
This is pretty sweet. Thought I knew exactly what to expect just from the band and song names, but it surprised me, which is great.
|
| |
"That main riff sounds like something off of kids bop or some shit."
lmao
Guitars are gated to hell and back but I guess the song is kinda fun. I'm definitely liking the tech
|
| |
Yeah it's fair to dislike aspects of the production here, but I think it's all done with purpose, aiming for a specific sound. It's like stereotypical tech death mixing ramped up to 11. Tight, dry, close, staccato-everything. Clean as hell, helps with the bounciness. Fun stuff.
I only wish the bass were more prominent in the mix outside of a couple of the times there's flourishes, but that's just me, because it sounds rad as hell when it does pop.
|
| |
song is legitimately danceable
|
| |
Well with some of the shit going on in the video we know some of what's going on here is tongue in cheek. I mean these shirtless happy guys are nuts
|
| |
forreal. half of their instagram story is dancing memes using the main riff of the song
