first since 1981, sweet

That's unbelievable, they didn't lost it after 40 years. Don't shut me down is a jam.

|
| |
They came back after they found out they beat Tool in the first round of the sput tourney
|
| |
If the year wasn't crazy enough...
|
| |
Holy shit. This is the greatest news and these songs are amazing
|
| |
Did they really need to mocap themselves into younger bodies just to release another 2.5 album?
|
| |
oooh Jackie Berkheart is gonna be so excited
|
| |
both good, don't shut me down is a bop
|
| |
I would have titled this ABBAck, but what do I know...
|
| |
bump bump bump
|
| |
well, humanity is officially doomed
|
| |
Just when 2021 couldn't get any worse...
|
| |
These tunes are fantastic. I'm genuinely really excited for this!
|
| |
ABBA rules
screw the haters
|
| |
My mom will be thrilled.
|
| |
I am thrilled and I am not Sitar's mom.
|
| |
That's what you think.
|
| |
Well, these are two ABBA songs for sure. "My mom will be thrilled." [2]
|
| |
aoty incoming
|
| |
Hahaha I'm super scared to listen to these.
|
| |
the most brvtal, kvlt group ov all time is back!
HAIL
|
| |
I believe fans won't be disappointed, both songs mirror reasonably well the soul that made the band famous. I preferred Don’t Shut Me Down.
|
| |
"Don't shut me down" is a graceful way to reintroduce themselves to the public.
|
| |
There's something terrifying in a band making a comeback 40 years after their last album, which was already their eighth.
|
| |
OK songs are cute, Don't Shut Me Down was the nicer one, but both are lovely. Those digital A B B As freak me out though, eeek, not watching their 001010010101-selves anymore ever.
|
| |
Yeah, I have mixed feelings about that too. I get the nostalgic value but it's kinda weird.
|
| |
Exactly, I just feel like watching Sims dressed up as The Fab(BA) Four playback to never-heard-before ABBA music. So weird.
The term ABBAtars is nice though haha.
|
| |
the digital thing is totally unnecessary but man, these songs are lovely.
|
| |
ok now they have to win sputroyale
|
| |
@Noctus: Absolutely. Actually hyped for the album now haha, who would have thought!
@dedex YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
IS IT TRUUUUEEE I'M AN EEAGLLEEE??????
|
| |
Production on both of these kind of suck. Vocals are fine though.
"ABBAtars"
🤮
|
| |
As if Covid wasn't enough
|
| |
ABBA = 💕
Ahahaha I guess that contraction was a bit vomity indeed SB, but it is also bad-funny in a funny way.
|
| |
This whole "ABBAtar" thing is one of the stupidest things in the whole year...
|
| |
Strange as it may sound I think it is an indicator of what the future holds. Just like Luke's appearance in Mandalorian. We are distorting reality.
|
| |
Don't Shut Me Down is pretty great, the other not so much imo, but I am happy to see this we need it in these times we live in
|
| |
swedes everywhere going to be nerding out, they are worshiped over there
|
| |
"Strange as it may sound I think it is an indicator of what the future holds. Just like Luke's appearance in Mandalorian. We are distorting reality."
It doesn't sound strange. It is truly creepy.
There exist programs like autotune that can reproduce someone's voice.
So, ABBA's return could actually have happened twenty years from now.
Technology is destroying the time dimension and a lot of other things that many people do not realize are the branch humanity is sitting on.
|
| |
I Still Have Faith In You sounds like a classic 90s Disney film song.
Love it.
|
| |
Kevin almost made some good pasta there
|
| |
I Still Have Faith in You is genuinely making me cry
Sucks to be any other artist releasing music in this year, cos this album will eclipse them all
|
| |
fuck the disingenuousness of artistic integrity through AI simulation - just hook the eternal ABBA machine up into my veins
|
| |
this is so good. wish my dad made it through the pandemic to hear new ABBA.
