Today's Empires remastered 2021-10-15 by Simon K. STAFF | 7 Comments | Canadian legends Propagandhi are re-releasing their third record, Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes, for its 20th anniversary. The album is getting a complete overhaul, with a new mix and master by Jason Livermore. Chris Hannah has been vocal in the past over his dissatisfaction with the album's overall sound, stating in an interview with Noisey in 2015 that:
“I just find it sonically not very listenable”. “I wish we could remix it, but nobody ever wants to hear a remixed 20 year-old record.”
Fat Wreck Chords are distributing the re-release, which can be pre-ordered now. This edition, as well as being fully remixed and mastered, will come with 4 bonus tracks. The album is set to drop November 12th.

Came out today and it sounds like an entirely different album. The bass and drums sound godlike and the new mix especially brings out just how many killer licks Todd played on this.
