Still think this band name is very bad advertisement. Sounds like an Italian popular classical singer that would work wonders in cheap pizza shacks across the globe.

really dislike the snare tone

and the video

but this is pretty great! miles better than the dud of a first single. i feel there's something missing in the songwriting dept, like it sets itself up but doesn't really peak, but maybe that'll make sense in sequencing. expectations for the new alb have gone from minimal to Astraea-level

I think I'm just going to have to wait for the whole thing to drop. This one and the last one are decent songs but I think Time Will Die... worked best when played as an album experience.

Really like the heavier direction they've been going in with their last couple of releases

heavier? If anything they got lighter, not that it's necessarily a bad thing.

@Exhale I really don't think these two bands are even remotely close enough to compare, unless you're looking at the simple fact that they both have female vocalists...

so so good. its been many years since i really CONNECTED with music, or even a whole album, and time will die and love will bury it was one of those for me. their production, screams, synth and everything is just perfectly mixed now. previous releases were too 'scramz' or scratchy sounding for me.

Cloaked instantly clicked for me the first time I heard it, Drip wasn't as immediate though, probably a grower.

yeah cloaked grew on me a lot too, i still think the heavier parts sound a little too close to a modern architects album but the second half of the track is beautiful

this is pretty immediate though, a bit closer to grievances sound-wise

That snare sound is annoying but maybe the Non YouTube version will sound less bad. Clean part is very awesome, heavy part is awesome as well. Im really intersted how this is working out in the new record.

Some would say it’s a little worse than just weird.

Who the fuck would ever compare those two bands?

Theyre both metalcore bands with female vox, which is pretty niche. They have different sounds and vibes but it's not a bonkers comparison

DaveTrane

comparison is based on gender of a band member.
