probably the best song so far, the others have been fine but unimpressive

Half the album is out now. The single drip feed method these record labels are on is lame af. Such an instant gratification geared society that they gotta basically release albums before they release. I miss the days when you maybe got one single if any ahead of an album release. Suspense builds and finally the pay off of sitting with an album in full.

This was definitely the best single so far. We'll see how the second half of the album holds up but I still don't think it'll touch their first 4.

I never listen to singles from bands I like.
And i agree about the disgusting pandering to instant gratification culture in which most people are basically unsufferable whimsical kids who never learnt that the world is not a giant uterus in which any of their needs or desire should be satisfied so quickly that they do not even feel them anymore. That's not what you were saying ? Ah ho. Ok. Sorry.

Great single, this album is definitely shaping up to be better than Walk the Sky
I am especially looking forward to the epic 8 minute track

production for the vocals is grating when he's singing in a higher register

Well, hot damn. I am kinda looking forward to a new Alter Bridge album again. Kinda thought I was gonna be done with them after the last two. Well played fellas

hate their insanely compressed production

"production for the vocals is grating when he's singing in a higher register"
100% agree and he seems to be focusing on higher registers more often at this point in his career. I really miss the lower register stuff he did in Blackbird and ABIII. Honestly my only gripe with this band is that. I still like them but I can only take his vocals for so long before I have to turn it off. I'd rather listen to Tremonti's solo project.

good timing for them to go to war huh

Ghost, I agree with you completely on Myles voice. There was a lot more dynamic in his delivery during the BB ad ABIII days. He seems to be taking the path of least resistance more and more these days. AB has probably already peaked at this point.
