I'm very curious and with some expectations about a new album of Ian Anderson.
Usually, he doesn't do anything wrong. Let's wait to see.

I am embarrassed to say I honestly didn’t even realize Ian Anderson was still alive or releasing new music as jethro toll anymore. I have loved basically every album jethro tull has released, the weirder the better usually.

Nice, a new Ian Anderson's project. I'm looking forward to hearing that.
|
| |
his voice is so weak, and his guitarist sucks, same generic tone all the time
|
| |
This fucking sucks ass
|
| |
About his voice, he once had throat surgery, which explains his vocal difficulties.
|
| |
Yeah in the late 80s, but his voice has gotten worse and worse, he should retire imo
|
| |
Yes I agree. They would benefit of a brand new singer, but it seems Anderson prefers keeping the vocal duties to keep the band's tradition
|
| |
Eh, not bad. The first minute is sweet.
|
| |
in any case he needs a new guitarist or revamping it...sounds like how a washed up 70s dad rocker would play
|
| |
Pretty much, Egar
Fair enough, smaug.
|
| |
Young punks talking shit about one of the greats
|
| |
I'm getting rather old for a young punk. Top 3 oldest on sput.
|
| |
the mixing is awful here, but the flutes are rad af
Someone hand the masters to a different producer pls
|
| |
This isn't a bad tune at all. Flutes kick ass. Vocals are a little low-energy - but eh, fuggit. Will listen to the album when it comes out.
|
| |
The previous album was very poppy but had worthy moments like "Mine Is the Mountain". I'll check this new one too even if this single isn't too inspiring to me and Anderson is basically whispering.
Anyway I love how 2023 JT published a better single than Metallica lol, still riding the high of that Grammy I guess
|
| |
Good news
|
| |
Is that after 4/20?
|
| |
Previous album was ok, although I only jammed it a couple of times. Glad to see Ian releasing a new JT so soon. Definitely checking it.
|
| |
imaging making yourself 100 years old by calling people "young" and "punk"...so sad...
|
| |
I need a couple listens before I can really form an opinion other than I liked the flute and I think maybe I didn’t like the guitar.
