Review Summary: The End is rarely happy. And the hero here is the only one - the death that puts an end to all this chaos that is our reality.

Want mercy? Converge certainly will not give it to you. No Heroes - they argue, and, apparently, are going to immediately correct this unfortunate misunderstanding. Their speed and relentless in its power of destruction hardcore density game even encroaches on the grindcore / territory of noise. Metallic hardcore, so that will not find it. That is, it's not punk, weighted to hardcore, but on the contrary, hardcore, weighted to the metal, and at the same time punk roots clearly tapped. Yet one thing is clear - snotty tendencies metalcore there no place there. Personally, my taste has fallen mad of primary vocalist (and solid support from the guitarist and bassist), dramatic and chaotic play drums, sometimes taps excellent blastbeats, and heavy, and with the multi-function guitar. Lyrics By the way, so distinctly heard, without the author's interpretation will not do - but it is, however, is quite common. Slow introduction, yelling - and then the speed and noise ... singing, of course ... The first 4 numbers and particularly ruthless grand-image "Vengeance" sweep so rapidly that it will not have time to blink. And here it becomes clear that the songs are really cleverly compiled the album is structured to fame.

After careful dumb numbers "Weight of the World" begins a series of more thoughtful and charismatic chaos. This 1.5-minute instrumental, like hangs over us and makes ponder the weight (burden) of the world, the resistance who started this team - is about to explode it in pursuit of the heroes. Indeed, the flagship of the album is the title song - "No Heroes", wherein an endless rampage all 3.5 minutes, for which the musicians will prove to you that the heroes, but they themselves do not. "Plagues" first plagues drawling sound dry and hard to an extreme guitar (I swear, this is sludge!), And further varies almost exclusively screaming vocals. Ballad number "Grim Heart / Black Rose" something reminded me of Led Zeppelin Robert Plantesque tragedy in his vocals and experiential stress and emotions in guitar playing (the comparison is not new, but accurate ...). Further continuation of the trend of the group gets to perform aggressive and, of course, amelodical chaos at a dosage of about 2 minutes, and maybe more. I will not talk about these songs in detail, but you can be sure that they keep an iron grip sets the bar high. 5-minute without a penny "Trophy Scars" particularly pleased masterfully created suspense. So, not to mention the fact that the lyric, and the social significance of the album No Heroes unusually large, it also sports a musical - the most powerful metal hardcore with grindcore, madcore and even post with metal assault. In addition, the disc demonstrates excellent form of striker Ben Koller, flawless guitar performance, coupled with the manner of the vocalist Jacob Bannon, in respect of which recall the words from "1984" by George Orwell: "In the face of pain there are no heroes, no heroes. .. "(Pt. 3, Chapter 1).

Under the unsightly originally a booklet, where there are no lyrics or any information, under the cover at first too harsh and noisy sound of porridge, we were waiting for the real music. Music, like torn to shreds a farewell message to his latest love song, though small, but sharp fragments of broken glass, very sick (painful) and the true emotions, dig into the vein, like sharp needles, leading into the blood lethal dose of pessimism and pain .. . Yes, this album is as uncompromising as possible - a total arrhythmia song structures such as heart disease, which is about to burst into pieces on the pressure of the walking and not knowing where to find the final resting place of hatred, which is partially absorbed by the inconsolable misery. Fossil chaos, through which lurks, as if through a prism of life lost horror from which escape is impossible, it can only hide behind the scream, as if behind a black veil. The rudiments of tunes that are trying to climb out, he immediately cut to pieces to shreds unimaginable in its incoherence chords and bass gradually and almost imperceptibly tighter and tighter the noose tightens around your neck ... More strange and even scary music in this genre, I think I still have not heard any "Hatebreed" can not so cut to the heart and shake out all the positive and the light from you. Despite the fact that, in the style displayed "extreme metalcore" album has more of an impact yet hardcore, sometimes leaving in his madness in the steppes grind, then returning to its roots, wherewith a punk. But behind the frenzied guitar massacre, nutty shock and terrible Orom it all becomes unimportant to the forefront expressiveness and emotion, which attack the brain, immediately get to the soul and makes you feel all the fragility of the situation and the futility of any effort to make life even a bit better - to be able to live, not survive, love, and not suffer. But somehow, everything in this ***ing world is not as you want, everything happens on the contrary, when you want one, just a little happiness and peace for you immediately dumped all the problems of this world, and you think that this will never end. .. Then why live? To deal with the fact that initially it is impossible to overcome? Dismiss. Here are the guys who try to fight, but I feel that this struggle is to disappear soon ...

The End is rarely happy. And the hero here is the only one - the death that puts an end to all this chaos that is our reality.

Play is recommended only under special mood.

I can tell you definitely tried, and for someone who doesn't speak English as a main language, this is quite good. Keep reading/reviewing and you'll definitely work out the kinks.

Not a Converge fan myself, but if you want my kind of music:

The Ghost Inside - Returners
Counterparts - Prophets
American Me - Heat
Stray From The Path - Make Your Own History
Stick To Your Guns - The Hope Division

Hey good review, as long as you ignore awkward grammar. Worst Converge album. I always feel like ATF did the same thing but better.
