Review Summary: Ruhaeda
Ruhaeda stomps on emo, stomps on hc, stomps on u. Ruhaeda. Ruhaeda. Think of it. Ruhaeda. (Inserts Dalai Lama), think of Ruhaeda when you believe in an apocrypha of how to deteriorate our skramz conundrums. Look, kneel, pray to god.
Ruhaeda (I can’t stop saying it) is a very good band, this ep rips, it’s not even an ep, it’s an lp, the band clams together a slint spiderland-esque riffage meets spazzed out metallic hardcore in your face. The kind of stuff to punch people at punk parties to. The stuff is sick, the riffs beat, the noisy pedal invigorates each and every move like Thomas Moore.
This album is extremely good and needs more love, for some reason this band has been slept on, this is the year in which they will become listened on.
I’m getting really pist, it must be because I listened to Ruhaeda, I just want to shed my lawn and plow the yard. Ruhaeda has a penchance for intertwining devilishly good riffs with quite characteristic interludes (the likes of which, remind a little bit of, Godspeed), this by no means is a bad thing as thusly the band uses it to great effect. This ep essentially is an underrated gem of metallic scramz, Ruhaeda.
