  • Skimaskcheck Ahaha good to hear man, glad you enjoyed it too! Trash Talk were NUTS, lock-up tent, got like most of the crowd on the stage, everyone was throwing those big bins around, and the bassist climbed on top of the lights! Insane! Oh man, i wanna see AF again so so bad. We were camped in green... our campsite was a SWAMP. My friend peed on his own tent and another was tripping and thought we were living in Pokémon land. How about your camp?!

  • Progmaster85 I'm not, only when I troll but it's fun to Troll. If you think about it, all these people talking about me make lists of me too, meaning I must be on their mind so I guess i'm doing something right haha!!! Favorite National song?
    January 31 04:42 PM
  • Progmaster85 oh and nice to see a fan of The National
    January 31 03:41 PM
  • Progmaster85 Oh and about the song structures on final note: Again, I love Proggy disjointed, structureless metalcore. Architects uses the structureless approach which is always interesting, but other bands with a similar approach to structure such as August Burns Red and The Arusha Accord just do it better, and their music varies more. Thanks for your argument though, you definitely know what you are talking about when it comes to Architects works.

  • Progmaster85 To me, Architects will always be a slightly decent math band that while superior to true generic metal like As I Lay Dying and Suicide Silence, they will never be anything great unless they can bounce back from their 2009 effort.

  • Progmaster85 promising, but Hollow Crown has destroyed any hope of mine. About the time signatures thing, I am one who LOVES that stuff, but Architects is not the master of it and they do not do it better than other math bands like Sikth, Dillinger Escape Plan or Between the Buried and Me. They are not really 'generic' in my opinion completely, because the use of odd time signatures is always refreshing and definitely superior to other filth like As I Lay Dying or Devil Wears Prada.

  • Progmaster85 Interesting, you actually chose to argue, very commendable. I actually agree slightly, Nightmares is superior to Hollow Crown in nearly every way. Nightmares had better guitar work but I can safely tell you that as a guitarist, the work was still to focused on mediocre tritone use and boring clean guitar sections, never varying. Hollow Crown is simply a bad album, definitely not a 4 in my opinion. I see where you are coming from however, there were certain tracks on Nightmares that actually were

  • Progmaster85 Of course I'm a douchbag, thats just what I am. If you'd like to tell me what's good about Architects, I'd love to have a debate with you, or, you can go on telling everyone how dumb I am. Whatever man, happy listening.
    January 31 03:26 PM
  • Progmaster85 haha ok I'm like the biggest metalcore guilty pleasure person in the world. Architects brings nothing new to the genre, their riffs are boring, they don't use tritones effectively as other math bands do, their singer is awful, their music doesn't vary and they are very dull and boring.
    January 31 03:08 PM
  • Progmaster85 If you think I'm pathetic ok, but the pathetic thing is that you have an Architects album rated at 4.5. Feel free to disagree. Happy listening!
