While continuing to strive further away from thier black metal roots, this is still an extremely interesting album. Melodic yet aggressive, this band continues to amaze me with every album. This album is unique in so many ways, both for the band and the blackened death genre. I continue to be impressed by the continued evolution of this band, and am sadddened that they still do not have the recognition they deserve.

This is the first Rotting Christ Album I've ever heard and I was really impressed with it.

Definitely not a "regular" black metal album, but it contains way too much uninspired songs, which really killed the mood for me.

Beautifully twisted gothic black metal with a mysterious exotic twist all topped off with memorable song-writing. While the end of the album does somewhat drop in quality this album has proved to be an excellent introduction to Rotting Christ and an album that I expect to revisit many times in the future.

I AM SHOCKED! This album is a dark masterpiece, with amazing production and THE MOST UNIQUE RIFFS from any other band i have listened in this genre...Songs like "Keravnos Kirvernitos", "Gaia tellus" "Rege diabolicus" and "Threnody" give me the reason for the unstoppable headbanging....
