Vessels is another worthy addition to Be'lakor's discography and The Smoke Of Many Fires is probably one of the best songs they've ever written. Great album.

This is a very lush and atmospheric version of melodic death metal. Yes, there is double bass and death growls but I hesitate to use the word 'aggression' to describe any part of this. It's still good, but very non-confrontational.

Be'lakor continue to cultivate an identity for themselves, making necessary changes and progressions from Of Breath and Bone, this time focusing more on the atmospheric qualities which made The Frail Tide and especially Stone's Reach work as well as they did. The end result is yet another album that keeps its listeners guessing with fascination and enchantment.
