Ngl the t/t and Cowboys are the biggest rippers here.

First half starts off a little less invigorating, but they bring tha goddamn energy from the t/t on

Damn. These guys are pretty fucking good. Had never heard of them before. Was looking up sdre’s diary show here at the Belasco in LA, and these guys popped up.

Larkin you been under a rock???? lol

Haha I might be a little older than some, I’m 42. Always been more of a hard rock/metal guy, grew up listening to all the great 90s bands. Bands like tool, Deftones, Soundgarden/audioslave, Alice In Chains, Eminem, Pearl Jam, a perfect circle, smashing pumpkins,Linkin park, pantera, STP, nine inch nails, Metallica etc etc all stuck with me, and I spent a long time just listening to these specific bands and when they’d release a new album I’d really lay into it.

I picked up some bands along the way like Mastodon, Chevelle, earlier Manson, Modest Mouse, Thrice, Brand New etc, but I was married and raising my daughters throughout the time most of these “newer” bands were popping off and thriving. The heard of some of them (only some though), but just never paid them any attention. I was very closed off musically for awhile, but then I opened up and that’s when i started listening to Thrice, Modest Mouse, Brand New etc and that just continued leading me down the rabbit hole to other bands and I have not stopped since. It goes a lot further than I thought, man.

Sputnik has been instrumental in this, it’s where I’ve discovered over 70% of these bands,
