i mean 80% of what kendrick said is just his analysis on drake and how he takes advantage of the culture/has insecurities about his identity/party lifestyle/probable family issues/etc. otherwise it's just missing receipts for the pedo stuff[which in that case just do some googling, it was the most obvious angle he could take and stuff that was in the tabloids for over a decade], he does have artists on his roaster with past sex/trafficking cases[not the entire label but a few confirmed/can find on their wiki page], and the 2nd child/daughter which has also been in the tabloids for over a decade. the main thing commentaters obsessed about leading into this beef was what could kendrick possibly say that hasn't been said before, and so far not much but he's just well articulated. but as i've said before thats pretty much just all drama, on a purely lyrical/flow level there's more than enough for people to pick their favorite. also feel like anyone who found drake or kendrick annoying was obviously going to root for the other person regardless of what came out.

well in that regard of damaged reputations: a baffling percentage or bands/artists i've grown up on have storied histories of being pieces of shit whether it be in their past or in the present, it sucks but it still doesn't invalidate any sort of feelings i had when said music was special to me. also feel like someone'd have to be an evil motherfucker to invalidate everything positive ones ever put out there during their lifetime, i prefer seeing people trying to rehabilitate their life and grow rather than outright dehumanizing them. it's an aspect where i've tried to make an effort on being less judgemental on others, but there's certainly a cut-off point when it comes to broken values.
but yeah it'd honestly be better if they were both lying, if there's validity to it than they should own up to it. in thiiis case though drake definitely has more to lose over what's thrown at him vs kendrick, kendricks more of a personal problem than like a criminal enterprise lol
