Surprisingly decent debut album from I am king. Pretty generic though and need to discover their own sound.

It's a tragedy for any fan of the genre to overlook this. It would be an understatement to say they were ahead of their time. Big names in the scene took a long time to pump out such energetic and groovy melodies like this. These guys did as soon as they appeared on the scene. Clean vocalist, Angel Flores flexes all over this album with his infectious and versatile licks and runs. It's a shame Rise didn't get these guys the backing they needed.
