Black Willows have a fairly original and refreshing take on stoner rock, going for a massively fuzzy, hypnotic and slow pace with progressive elements. The only things lacking are the horribly mixed bass (which would clearly make the album a whole lot better if you could hear it), some lacklustre riffs and a bit of overlength. Fixing these problems, this band has a killer record in them.
