Unique sonic trip blindingly hypnotic and trance-inducing........

If there were a word to describe this record, it'd be the first word of the title. Because, thanks to the repetitive, psychedelic, and encompassing rock here, The Myrrors are able to create a vivid soundscape reminiscent of traversing the sweltering desert plains. The vocals here are airy and seem to drift in and out of the haze like some sort of auditory hallucination. While the compositions here might be standard fare for the genre, the use of horns, strings, and various wind instruments add some needed personality to the music and prevents things from becoming an uninteresting slog. No song overstays its welcome thanks to this, and the repetitive moments are well-written and memorable enough so that the repetition is pleasing rather than taxing. In a nutshell, it's a very well done heavy psych album, so if you need some of that in your life, The Myrrors have you covered.
