Just one year after their previous album, Grave Digger are releasing a new one which could be briefly described as yet another example of how a once charismatic singer who has lost his spontaneity and edge, is thwarting lift-off of an instrumentally eager heavy/power metal lineup. Not only Boltendahl is put in front of everything in the mix, he sort of steps on than sliding on the vocal lines. What is paining is that The Living Dead would've sounded much much better with a more balanced sound, and with Chris Boltendahl as he reaped the mics from circa 1996 up to 2003.
