There's about just as much decent stuff as there are parts that make me cringe so it's alright for 2024 P.O.D. I guess?

Competent enough, but this release sounds more like "miscellaneous nu metal band makes 2024 album after gathering funds on Kickstarter", rather than "P.O.D. makes 2024 album". The guitar has no texture or grit - pristine shiny chords and chugs dominate everything, and gone are all the little atmospheric tangents and hip hop flair from the instrumentals. A bit of a step down from the previous two, in large part due to the boring, boring stock tone... which isn't to say The Awakening and Circles sounded much like P.O.D. either. Not bad, but not even remotely reminiscent of what made them click.

If you, like them, don?t care about good or original lyrics anymore (or don’t understand English), it?s a pretty great
