Hypnos is Czech death metal band from Uherské Hradiště, Moravia, founded by Bruno just after he left maybe most famous Czech death metal band Krabathor (vocals, bass) and a Slovak drummer Pegas (Krabathor, Apoplexy, Dehydrated). Joined by guitarist R.A.D. (Bad Face),they recorded self-titled 4-songs demo in 1999, later released as a split casette with Polish death metal band Infernal Maze by Mad Lion Records (PL) and as a MCD by Morbid Records (GER), both in 2000. Mika Luttinen (FIN, Impaled Nazarene) appeared as a guest vocalist on this record.

Joined by guitarist R.A.D. Mika Luttinen (FIN, Impaled Nazarene) appeared as a guest vocalist on this record.
The band began to be very active immediately and released their debut full length "In Blood We Trust" on Morbid Records (GER) in september 2000. Guitars were recorded by Hire (Flood, Krabathor, Terminator,Melancholy Pessimism) and Mika appeared again as a guest vocalist. This album was re-released several times on various labels and formats, most recently in 2011 as double digi-pack by Mad Lion Records.
Second album "The Revenge Ride" came in October 2001 (Morbid). It was engineered and mixed by Harris Johns, founder of Musiclab Berlin studio, who worked with such bands as Kreator, Sodom, Helloween, Tankard, Coroner, Immolation or Voivod; mastered at famous Morrisound Studio, Tampa, USA. Again, there was change on guitars, this time played by David M. (Melancholy Pessimism).
Hypnos became one of the leading Czech and Slovak metal bands very quickly, performing a lot of live shows (more than 250 untill 2006) across all Europe, with bands like Vader, Behemoth, Morbid Angel, Dying Fetus, Enslaved, The Crown, Immolation, Macabre, Pungent Stench or Haemorrhage. They were also part of European No Mercy Festivals.
"Rabble Manifesto" was their third LP, released in June 2005 (Morbid), with Butch Mills (D.M.C.) on guitars and cooperating with Harris Johns again. In January 2006, after the Eurotour with Centinex and Purgatory, Hypnos interrupted activities for a non specified period.
In 2009 year, Bruno and Pegas started practising again, in order to prepare new material for the MCD “Halfway To Hell”, released in July 2010 via the Czech based label Crystal Productions. Joined by guitarist IGORR (bassist of ROOT), band played comeback show at famous Czech BRUTAL ASSAULT festival in Jaromer at August 2010 (featuring bands like Cannibal Corpse, Hypocrisy, Ihsahn, Napalm Death, Fear Factory etc.) and got really terrific response in front of 13 000 people.
At fall of 2011 year, band signed deal with German record label Einheit Produktionen for new album “Heretic Commando / Rise of the New Antikrist” which was recorded with Norwegian engineer Børge FINSTAD (Mayhem, Ihsahn, Arcturus) and released in April 2012, right after CZ/SK tour with grind core squad Napalm Death.
Hypnos is still active, f.e. they were playing tour with Amon Amarth in spring 2014 (POL, ROM, BUL, HUN, SVK, SLO, CRO) or a live radio show in fourth channel of Slovak public radio called „Radio FM“ celebrating 10 years anniversary of a specialized metal program "Headbanger FM“, broadcasted directly from the studio at 24.11.2014. Bruno released a life-story book called Revoltikon, 666 copies sold out 3 months from its release...
