| Nectar And Napalm: Spring 2011
Spring came and went pretty fast!! And? it was pretty damn cold all the way through. At least it was on my end. Luckily, the last of my 4 seasons mixtapes were made (just as my car broke down, but still!) and were able to keep me somewhat warm in one of the coldest seasons this side of winter. I?m writing and listening to this mix once more, months late, and trying so here?s hoping it lives up to the other 3. | 1 | Skindred Nobody | 2 | The Black Eyed Peas & Macy Gray Request + Line | 3 | David Archuleta Crush
My reason: I am emotionally a 12 year old girl, and it's a cute song. Deal with it. | 4 | Counting Crows Accidently in Love | 5 | PureNRG Dive | 6 | Michelle Branch Breathe | 7 | Andrew W.K. She Is Beautiful | 8 | Cee Lo Green Fuck You | 9 | Lights February Air | 10 | Jason Mraz Geek In The Pink | 11 | Against Me! Thrash Unreal | 12 | Yellowcard Believe | 13 | Ben Lee I Love Pop Music | 14 | Train If It's Love | 15 | Fairy Fore Vivid | 16 | L'arc~en~Ciel Lover Boy
Mature Japanese men are sexy as hell. | 17 | The Donnas Take It Off
Men aren't the only ones allowed to form rock bands, or sing songs about sexing it up. I mean, women's rights exist for a reason! | 18 | Death Cab for Cutie The Sound of Settling | 19 | Stacy Clark White Lies | 20 | Zac Brown Band As She's Walking Away (feat. Alan Jackson)
A somber finale to the spring playlist, as well as this project as a whole, a duet between Zac Brown and Alan Jackson about not letting that good chance go to waste. This was fun, even if no one else likes my playlists. Here's to the future. | |
