This is fine, by the numbers Revo tbh.
|
| |
Yup. Reminds me of when they premiered Of Unworldly Origin and then the rest of the Outer Ones turned out to be an entirely different vibe. This is ok tho
|
| |
by the numbers Revo tbh [2]
I still dig it though
|
| |
Their early material will likely always be their most exciting, but these guys still write excellent records.
|
| |
Definitely by the numbers Revo [3] but par for them is excellent by the genre standard. Album should rule.
|
| |
no complaints here. by the numbers Revo is kinda what we're here for. solid track
|
| |
Closing track of the new album features BOTH Corpsegrinder and Trevor Strnad. (RIP)

This goes hard. Also Daves beard is epic
|
| |
Eh, song is alright, probably one of their worst singles
Also that album art sucks, looks like some muddy shit from some no name 90s osdm band transitioning from dm to groove metal.

Surprised to see criticism of the album art. I love it and it urged me to click play. Loved their first two albums back in the day but lost touch with them around their third. I'm digging this more than most of the newer tracks I've heard tbh. Riffing is very on point. Always felt like their material would work a lot better for me with more growls and gutturals being used in the vocal department. Anyone who hasn't should go back and check their debut before they changed their name to Revocation. I wanna say they were called Cryptic Warning or something like that. Definitely Cryptic something. It's kind of crude in terms of vocals and recording but it has a lot of cool riffing going on from what I recall.

Pretty good. Best production (sonically) from the band yet. I’m a sucker for that. Cover art is good. Dunno why anyone would be complaining about that.
|
| |
song sounds good, band is consistently solid. art is great, Paolo Girardi rules. no idea what bloc's on about lol
|
| |
album art is definitely stellar. i can't name a single 90s groove metal album off the top of my head that has that type of art so pretty weird and specific criticism. reminds me of brutal death artwork more than anything else

riffing is great solo is nott their best [2]
Songs good but not amazing, that midsection rules though.
The Outer Ones didn't grab me at first but grew into one of my favourite Rev albums, have loved the heavier DM influence since Deathless. Artwork is great.

Great song.
|
| |
album art is sweet . weird comment about the art Bloc
Song just reminds me of every other fast paced Revo album that just changes riff once or twice for variety without lending itself to much creativity. Really odd that Dave is a graduate in music theory yet releases rather uninteresting rehashed material year after year

| |
album art indeed rules
