Cattle Decapitation drop new track 2023-03-29 by Fernando Alves STAFF | 18 Comments | Deathgrind squad Cattle Decapitation have dropped yet another track, 'Scourge of The Offspring', off their forthcoming tenth studio album, Terrasite, due out May 12th via Metal Blade Records. You can stream it below.
Vocalist Travis Ryan on the new single: "It makes up the bulk of the album’s concept that the first song, 'Terrasitic Adaptation,' and the cover art sort of set into motion. In the first song, we find out what's going on on the cover, and this song deals more with what our children will end up being - adult humans, shat out and left to make sense of this world only to end up being part of the problem simply by existing."
The music video will premiere today at 6pm[GMT].
Director, Cinematography, Editor, “AI Artist”, Post-Production FX: David Brodsky for My Good Eye: Music Visuals
The band's follow-up to 2019's Death Atlas was again produced by Dave Otero (Allegaeon, Khemmis, Archspire) with artwork by longtime collaborator Wes Benscoter (Vader, Kreator, Bloodbath, Hypocrisy).
Tracklist:
1. Terrasitic Adaptation

would it kill these guys to include riffs in their songs
| | | that wouldn't be very vegan now would it?
| | | define a riff
| | | I dont think you understand what a riff is
| | | i poop upon people who complain when blistering extreme metal doesn't have "riffs".
| | | Groovy as hell. That intro is so Meshuggah
Goblin pirate cleans are back but they were used tastefully here. Just hope Travis doesn't overdo them on the album. Should crush m/
| | | Preferred this over "We Eat Our Young" but still seems very similar to Death Atlas.
| | | I haven't really enjoyed any Cattle Decap album since "Monolith of Inhumanity" and I don't even remember why. Did they change the direction of their sound? I probably should give their previous two albums another chance
| | | Does anyone know what a riff is?
| | | “Did they change the direction of their sound?” not really, but I think they started focusing too much on the goblin vocals
| | | Death Atlas was great. This song is pretty cool.
| | | Can't get with the weird clean vocals, everything else is great
| | | The irony of this song is the clean vocal sections are the best part lol, everything else is standard Cattle Decap.
| | | The song, the lyrics, the video, the harsh vocals, the semi-clean alien sounding vocals, everything just sounds so epic to me. Love it! Death Atlas was awesome and this sounds like it will be too!

| | | Band is too angry for me.
| | | and just to be different, I've always thought of these vocals as "banshee" or "lich" vocals
| | | Oh boy this riffs
XD
