4.5 superb | furpa | July 1st 22 | Man this shit is fucking ludicrous and I'm so on board. I suspect a lot of people might find
this a bit... much.. but frankly this might be the most fun I've had with an LP in 2022 so
far. rAnd yes, it's TDH so of course it's technically brilliant and produced immaculately
but that should go without saying. You know what you're getting with Casey by now.
EDIT: holy fucking shit the ending to Ring 1..

4.0 excellent | Your #1 Most Loved Semiaquatic, Egg-Laying Mammal | June 10th 22 | This is definitely their most bombastic album yet, but the hooks are so good it's hard not to love. The downside is that a few songs meander a bit too much for my liking, but for the most part this is another hit for them.

3.5 great | PickleVai17 | July 1st 22 | I think is is a damn good album! The dear hunter have always been good at sounding original and its honestly really nice for them to finally move on from the acts and explore more sounds. Is it my favorite album? No, but still solid nonetheless

2.0 poor | Slex | July 1st 22 | This is an absolute stinker dead on arrival. Shit sounds like The Wiggles with a bunch of funk bass

4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | July 7th 22 | The legendary progressive pop and rock group are finally back with a new extensive and probably the elaborate world that we can get lost in for the next 5-10 years. I have been very curious to see how the band would change after they finished the ?Acts? because I knew they would continue to diverge from their more post-hardcore roots. Now that we have the first installment it seems to be a more jazz fusion and new wave influence that brings a new slew of influences, the heaviest being Thank You, Scientist. Overall ?Antimai? is a detailed roadmap of the new world, showing the class system for the made-up world and it?s backed by some bouncy and powerful jazz fusion and progressive elements. It will be interesting to see their new album I guess being released next year to see how the story of this world divulges. My biggest grievance is with ?Patrol?, the synth piano cord in that track is extremely distracting and I more or less skip that track.
