they are working on music actively, Gavin did an interview very recently like 2-3 months ago. The band are pretty active now. i know that they've said similar things before but it really seems legit this time.
some stuff is already written, even, i think he said. He said that the direction seemed heavier and like Leitmotif which was a bit strange to hear. Who knows what will happen lol. he said they meet every week to work on stuff and that they have like 2 albums worth of stuff.

that part in same ol road where it gets all atmospheric ''though we bleed, we must push on'' is truly inspirational, so is the last half of the canyon behind her, my favorite part on the album, such an underrated band and that song in particular, stunningly just heart wrenching lyrics and vocals at the climax of that song, what a way to end the album, with canyon.

this is consistently replicable phenomena and exclusive to this album, it has happened every time i put it on (thrice) over the course of multiple years, and i see no causal precedent for my body producing such a psychosomatic response (why the fuck would it)

You'd be surprised at how dedicated their fans have been even after a typically panned last album, no new music for ages, and just appearing on instagram to post about any kind of random anniversary they can think of. Then they'll drop an announcement for an expensive ass vinyl repress of an old album and it's gone in a heartbeat, only for some copies to appear on discogs at obscene prices
