Yeah, Happy was my first time listening to Mudvayne. I was late to the party, but that track slaps.

Lost and Found was one of my first 'heavy' albums. Def some solid tracks on there. Determined and Pulling the String go stupid hard by radio rock standards

Watching some old live performances and fuck, Chad Gray was the best metal vocalist in the world at one point.

I wish I could but it's such a weird album...
1) they'd sound better in an exotic language like Japanese
2) the screaming is truly next-level, but those clean vocals should be banned, simply awful!
3) I can ALMOST feel some tracks BANGING but they just remind me of bands like Slipknot and Maximum the Hormone who just do almost everything better lol
4) the bassist is way too talented, it almost seems like he's holding back so the rest of the band can catch up with his genius

1) what?
2) can't disagree more
3) I've always been proud of Slipknot and their success, but they could never pull off a song like Prod. Hell even Death Blooms is out of their wheelhouse, they just can't hit those emotional highs (not even meant as a knock). Dig is dumb as hell and matches most of the dumb bangers Slipknot has in their repertoire (no shade)
4) McDonough is an absolute madman here as well. Tribett is the only one who didn't provide a masterclass performance here, but it's wholly serviceable and his work is often some of the best part of the songs.

Martine being a world-class bassist and going the route of smart ICP is hilarious. And "Dig" could be most reasonably compared to something like "Spit It Out" or "Wait and Bleed" if we're making the Slipknot-esque comparisons.
