Plus, Ronnie's vocals were way better in Sabbath and Rainbow than they were with that album. He didn't sound like he was singing to his fullest potential on the record

Sure that he was better in sabbath than in rainbow, but for being a solo project he crafted memeroable
tunes, has diversity and lyrics are well constructed. The only con I see is that the self titled song
is a little bit overplayed. Besides it doesn't have filler, I can agree with you in some points, but
those applies for other dio albums. NOT FOR HOLY DIVER.

Still true in 2024 and Trent Reznor secretly agrees.

"It appears that Reznor had outright refused to trim the fat with this one, as The Fragile is plagued with so many throwaway filler tracks, half-baked ideas, tonal inconsistencies, and tracks that don’t justify their lengths, that any regulation of the scale of its ambition is practically nonexistent."

Yep.

One whole paragraph and yet nothing was said. Quite fascinating

Ah ah ah. Your comment is a good example of forced assertiveness.

When one starts a sentence with a word like "obviously" because spontaneously they perfectly know that what they're about to say isn't obvious and pretty axiomatic and they feel the need to ward off the disagreeable feeling.

You could have said: "Not much is said in this paragraph though. it's only vague general statements."

But no.

It is a "whole" paragraph as if a paragraph represented something big.

And "nothing" just nothing is said. Ah ah ah. Seriously. A lot is said in this paragraph and you know it.

And the final haughty snarky remark to convey the feeling that your perspective is so much smarter and refined.
