well it's like this, you have your general starter metal bands nowadays or bands that feed into metal



Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Used to be Disturbed and Slipknot, with some shitty metalcore. It's just how it goes. You need those entry bands for a genre to survive.

I like my metal to have some melody and change of pace, I know some thrash bands do that but theres a
lot of them that play the same tempo constantly.
