I've heard some Smino and he's alright. His latest mixtape was cool but I dont get the hype behind him.

Potsy how do you feel about the whole Earl/MIKE sound? Becoming relatively popular but still somewhat unique imo

sound collage hip hip is a cool name. dark / abstract hip hop but even then doesn't properly describe the jazzy, collaged instrumentals both rapper use

@slex I've never heard any MIKE but as for earl and similar stuff I dug it at first but it's become a bit one-note. Honestly hip hop on the whole is overdue for some serious strides in the production department. I'm not sure what I'd like it to look like but I know I'm bored. Cant even remember the last hip hop album I've been able to sit through front to back multiple times without skipping or cherry picking highlights for playlists etc.

It doesn't bother me to that extent but I can genuinely see where yr coming from, it would be nice to find something truly fresh

Lmao I just actually read this review for the first time and it's hilarious. Is this a purposeful satire?

title track is fantastic, the rest goes from good (change) to tedious (folding clothes, deja vu)
