nice review and a great album. They really did a good comeback from The Undying Darkness album which kinda sucked. It had 2 good tracks on it and that was it, this one i can actually listen to from the start to the end. I still think the opposite from the within is their best album but this one comes close. I noticed they added some kind of keyboard sound in some parts? which is new for the band but it gave a kinda cool sound imo.

I think of it as a refined version of The Undying Darkness but both are pretty bad aside from the chorus. I still think I Believe is a great song, and if I'm not mistaken there are some keyboard sounds added.

This is another one of my favorite albums, I've listened to it probably 20 or 30 times since I got it... personally, I see this album as a "best of breed" thing, rather than generic, kinda like all that remains. Yeah, it's metalcore, everyones doing it, but IMO, its the best metalcore out there right now

it's catchy, naturally, but everything seems like its all thrown in together with no decent riffs or transitionsThis Message Edited On 07.27.07

I'm undecided if this is better or worse than "Undying Darkness". It feels really repetitive and delivers the Hatebreed feeling in a way: The riffs sound almost identical on almost all songs. Not sure about a rating yet, but so far I'm not really impressed.

I just got this album for 10$. I really liked it. The music is great although it could have used some more guitar strenght, the vocals and good and the song are very enjoyable.

This is an improvement from The Undying Darkness. Got some very good songs like I will never let you down.

what a spectacularly boring album.

gets 2 points for intensity, loses 3 for failing to hold my attention for anything but a fleeting moment.

completely disagree with this review.
this IS one of the best metalcore releases ever... comparable to the best Killswitch Engage material
i don't really know what you expect from metalcore, do you want it to be all experimental or less breakdowns or what?
this may be generic in terms of style but no one has done it better!

Misery Signals? The Oppopsite From Within is the best thing this band will ever do. That is a metalcore classic.

If they were, they would have started off as the next B-52's. Every album = same formula yet I can't get enough of this shit.
