black milk kind of sounds like radiohead ya

Ya but with a tinge of Interpol.

Good one. I don't think I've name dropped Interpol or Radiohead in over a year, save for my Eraser review, but still good one.

Mezzanine falls into the trap of repeating itself.

I really don't see that at all.

But it was a good reivew.

I mean the overall feel of each song is the same and it ends up all sounding similar.

seriously man, you are wrong, this is a fucking powerful record. It means too much to me to ever consider it is an ok or inconsistent record.

I disagree with most of this review yet it was still well written. I find Mezzanine to be much more enthralling then most trip-hop albums, it can just become overdone at a few points.

Heaps better. The only album that competes with it is F#A#, in my opinion.

Oh you guys that have all the trip hop and post rock...I envy you. I have no GY!BE, DJ Shadow or Massive Attack.

I used to think like you. I just didn't see the awesomeness in this album, like, at all. Until i realized i would be sitting in front of my computer going, y'know what... I fell like listening to some Mezzanine. And i'd just keep coming back for more. And its not like i went 'omg this is an awesome album' - i just kept coming back to it.

123 pretty much exactly. I probably listen to this more, but I think Endtroducing is the better album.

Completely agree with this review. And Endtroducing destroys this, its not even close.

I love Angel, Risingson, Teardrop, Inertia Creeps, Mezzanine, Group Four = more than half = very, very, very, very good album ^^ In fact, only track I don't like from this is Exchange.

I just don't think you are chill enough to handle this album, Adam. Your main criticism is that the songs are 'stretched thin'... but why is nobody else complaining about this?
