the keyboards on this suck and the songwritings pretty stale

Wow this really does sound kinda like The Faceless. Finally, I've been looking for bands that sound like them for a long time.

^ definitely they're the closest thing to them. Both this cd and Akeldama were produced by Michael Keene, the Faceless' guitarist.

Not to mention Michael Keene does some guest vox in both Empires Erased and Braced Legs. Also has anyone heard BOOS demos from when they were called Rosecrance? Pretty crazy stuff had squeals, singing and even...rapping. If you want it hit me up.

lol this is funny because these guys went to my high school and I didn't think this site would have them
the drummer, bassist and keyboardist all went to my high school and were in my classes and shit
I remember when they were called Rosecrance...i think that was our junior year in high schoolThis Message Edited On 02.27.08

This album is ok, but I hate how triggered the drums are.

yeah its a bit annoying, I still greatly enjoy the cd. So groovy just a fun listen while it lasts

Cameron the drummer is really good, I've heard him play live before and he can lay down some good beats
Fun fact: The vocalist got expelled from my school for slashing 70 bus tires

thanks bro. what i mean by that is they have the faceless sound, but they aren't afraid to abuse the breakdown like august burns red haha...which isn't a bad thing if done right. And in this case it is.

man i hope i can see them live sometime. it seems like it would be an exciting show

The last show I saw of theirs was pretty nuts. The floor was shaking due to the crowd movement. But then, it was a Chicago show. Hometowns (or close to it) always go crazy.

bow down is my favourite song on this album
my friend recommended to me, and i was surprised that this didn't sound like 99% of the other myspace death/metalcore bands out there.

Sometimes I wish they would just keep what they have going for a little bit longer before they randomly change the beat... but I love it anyway :D.
