Wow. This is definately the slowest metal i have ever heard. Pretty good but then again im only 1 track in :p. Hope this won't go boring on me....

Just listened to the song "Devived" on their Myspace page. I'm just curious what makes this band any good? You can't understand what the singer is saying and the guitar sounds monotonous. Like, I dunno, is that the point? -- not being able to hear what the singer says and hearing the same sound over and over? The song sounded kinda cool @ the 3:00-4:30ish minute mark, but other than that, I'm lost as to how this is considered music. If your just gonna replay by calling me a "fool" or something, don't even bother...I wanna hear a serious response.

I was always curious as to why we don't have a Doom genre in the metal section. I have always believed that to be a legitimate sub-genre. Is it too weak of a catagorization?

Derived is awesome. I'd buy this now but already ordered 3 disk's. Doom is the flavor of the month for Sputnik it seems.

The reason why we don't have a doom sub-genre is because (apparently) there is no need for it. By that, it's meant that there aren't enough albums/bands to bother making it into a seperate genre.

There plenty of Doom, we just need more people to like it....For Funeral Doom, the only band I like is named....Funeral, I dunno if there on this site tho.
