^ Yeah I've been spinning this again today and for me it's a prime example of a 'grower' album, some of the less rockin' songs like Bi-polar bear, Wonderful and Hello, it's late really get better with repeated listens and reveal their true qualities (with superb vocals and some nice subtle melodies). Gutted we'll never hear new stuff from (the real, Weiland fronted) STP again.

Days Of The Week has to be their worst track by far, a real turn-off for me.

Days of the week sold me instantly on this album, and then the softer tracks mentioned above by both of you are what kept me coming back. Album's pretty great on late night drives.

I like practically every track on here more than DOTW, that one's just unbelievably... kitsch or something? Almost kept me from checking out the album altogether, given that it was the only representation this one even got on Thank You. it's like a bad version of the poppier songs they did on Tiny Music. Not a bad album at all though

Yeah DOTW is just awful and easily the worst on here. Just thinking about it makes me cringe... Fortunately it's not at all representative of the album. Some great jams on here for sure.

I wish there were more tracks from the "All in the Suit That You Wear" sessions, too

only time they didn't work with Brendan O'Brien (before that s/t at least) & it's interesting to hear

Not that bad of an album, always had a soft spot for bipolar bear.

I'm manic as hell, but I'm goin' strong! A window into Scott's life.

I love this record, though "Days of the Week" as track 2 is kind of off-putting

I don't even hate the song or anything, anymore, just kind of feels out of place after that fuckin' monster of an opener

Regeneration to Song for Sleeping is a pretty uninspired stretch for me

A lot to enjoy on here. Dumb Love, Coma, Hollywood Bitch, Hello It's Late, Too Cool Queenie and Transmissions still are damn sweet jams for me. Solid album.

Can't remember it exactly tbh lol... Didn't have that much impact on me it seems, but with the exception of Days Of The Week all on here is pretty enjoyable imo, at least to some extent.

Not the best introduction to this one I guess but great you enjoy some tracks Jeff. Part of this is really good.
