That was my first few experiences with doom metal. Great metaphor we have going here too. Comparing doom metal to a slow, painful shit!

Funny thing with this band, every doom record I review, they're all somewhat influenced by this group and I mention it every time. Other than a couple distracted listens I never really gave this band the time of day. I should though.This Message Edited On 08.15.08

they probably get ignored by most doom fans because they haven't played doom in forever and only 'Serenades' is any good. I don't know why their new albums don't get more attention. You'd think there'd be a large audience for this style... And really there is.

I like their last three the most, the Radiohead and Pink Floyd influences are what I dig in this band, I find the doom era rather boring.

I just bought this album today at Borders and I am loving it so far. It's too bad that it was the only album they had there because I really need to get more of their stuff. Beautiful music.
