from what i've heard by New Found Glory, they're just so-so. Okay, but definetely not someone I'd listen to day after day...

I have so many compliants about this band and review I could write a term paper on it. I'll just say...



The "singer" can't sing and sounds like his voice is coming from his nose. The guitarists play with no passion. They almost seem bored, and like they don't even care. The music overall sounds really bad.



The review was very very fanboyish. Not enough detail about the music. Bias over shadows the ability to be objective (wether you like the band or not). Therefor I must give the review and band a "bad vote".

im not a fanboy but i do like the band. and how do the guitarists play with no passion? if u dont like them u probably havent seen them live so how the hell would u know?

The guitar is OKAY. I must admit that its occaisionally catchy. Listen to the song "My Friends Over You" and youll know what I mean.



The singing is GODAWFUL.



Im from FL where NFG is from. The drummer is related to my friend Scot. From what I hear they're nice people.



Kolzig needs to stop going into every pop/punk bands reviews and bashing them. Have you ever left a good comment Kolzig???

first of all im not bashing them. some pop punk is actually good like nfg. i know the singing is bad on the albums but live it is so much better. there are other good pop punk bands but not a lot. second of all whoever said the guitarists play like theyre bored and they dont care--u cant tell by listening to an album if theyre bored when they play-you have to actually see them play

4.5 out of 5? Come one. New Found Glory is possibly one the whiniest, poppiest bands ever. How can you actually stand the singer's voice? It is unbearably nasal and weak. I'm not writing them off just because they're pop-punk. Along with Simple Plan, they're at the bottom, far below Green Day or Good Charlotte.

^^Lemme fix this. I meant that Simple Plan and NFG are at the bottom of the pop-punk ladder, as opposed to Green Day and GC, who aren't entirely that bad.This Message Edited On 10.29.05

If Green Day's pop-punk, then so are the offspring, and they are 2 of the greatest bands out there.

Ok answer me this. Are The Offspring Pop Punk? They're classified as pop puk by this site. Yet they are one of the best bands out there. I can understand why a lot of people hate Green Day, but you can't hate the Offspring.

i think i have the weidest sense of music taste

i can like some of James blunt songs, most NFG songs and also like Chimaira and stuff like that

^^ Agreed. Sticks and Stones was a tight album. It was much less whiny than Catalyst. I could bear it. In fact I actually liked it for a confused time of my life. But Catalyst destroyed my opinion of NFG

Are you kidding me? Im a pop punk junkie. Green Day and Offspring all the way. Also I like Fall Out Boy. Pretty much Any band that goes under pop punk on this site (which is not Simple Plan and Good Charlotte) I like.
