"This is a mixed bag, but from the right perspective, it’s a mixed bag of treats from no impostor."

This honestly made me decide to find this, something I was very uninterested in. Very good.

Took me about a year to bother checking out his last album, and never really got it. So by the sounds of it I won't be in a huge hurry to check this out. This Message Edited On 03.25.09

if you don't really like doom, this will do nothing to change your opinion. i can't stress enough how necessary madvillainy is.

and metal-fingers finds compositional harmony in “Lightworks”.

What's this supposed to mean? DOOM didn't make the "Lightworks" beat Dilla did...
Otherwise pretty well written review. This is some of DOOM's best work though.

same. how was the remixed version madlib put out anyway? is it worth buying if youre a fan of theirs? or is something that would be cool for the novelty, but ultimately wouldnt find many spins?

definitely sick, you need to hear it. i put it at almost the same as the original, but not quite up there since it's a remix.

You shouldn't call him King Geedorah. That's his alternative ego and it might confuse somebody.

Great review.

I am quite stoked with the way this album turned out, only I wanted something way more progressive, way more edgy from DOOM... There is no reason why DOOM shouldn't blow us away completely with every track. Either way, being an avid music listener, I love the album. Keep it coming, I say...
