You’re slowly getting to triple figures Mike. Another great review here… You never fail to provide great & interesting reading. I’ve been meaning to get into Silverstein for a while, so it looks like this may be an opportune time.

How does the title has anything to do with the cover art?

I think Thriceremoved needs to stop existing.

He's been removed three times before, what makes you think that you can stop him now? This Message Edited On 03.31.09This Message Edited On 03.31.09

I'm not sure you realise this but that would actually mean you'd be sucking mine and Kane's dicks at the same time. Idiot.

omg win.

a friend showed me a few tracks from this but i wasn't terribly impressed. but a very good review. pos'd.

Good review and I love your summary. This is much better than Arrivals & Departures.

good review, if nothing else, I can respect Silverstein for going outside their comfort zone and trying to do something new (Y)This Message Edited On 04.01.09

There's nothing inherently bad about the tracks I've heard, it's just that I've heard them hundreds of times before on every other bland, samey record of it's kind.

I just bought the record today. It's good. Course, I'm one of the 7 people who liked Arrivals and Departures.

i completely wrote them off after arrivals and departures. mind, i didn't hate it as much as everyone else seemingly did but after 3 albums of more or less the same thing a band tends to get a bit stale.

this album is a shocker though. i didn't even know they were working on it. you nailed it with your review - especially with that conclusion. i am the arsonist and vices are effing sweet. can't wait to hear the full album.

After the first time through this, I think I like the heavier tracks but everything else just doesn't do it for me. Review is really solid, as always.

I'm not sure if I understand why people read the review for a band that they don't like. I personally like Silverstein and really like this album. It's more about appreciating them for their sound and not trying to compare them to other bands.

P.S. Arrivals and Departures could have been much much worse. I was a fan. This Message Edited On 04.02.09

I might check this out as I rocked their first two albums hard back in the day but then I kinda just grew outta them.

anyone else feel like the beginning of American Dream sounds like a Lostprophets song?
