Really good album. It's like they were on to something before they started their wankfest that was Cosmogenesis.

I much prefer Considered Dead or Eorsion of Sanity over Obscura when it comes to Gorguts. Obscura is a tough listen and despite being really original and interesting just never "clicked" for me.

Hymn to a Nocturnal Visitor has the biggest groove; great song.

Some strong Death influence in this album. Sometimes i feel like i'm listening to Death material tbh. Also some influence of Cynic make it an interesting listen
