"Meteor of War"

the song would mean more if you knew what it was about and who John Brown was, i only found out recently and it has taken on new meanings; john brown was one of the people who risked his life to help abolish slavery.. the first few lines of the song tell us that:



John brown set the tone

he was a meteor in a guilty land

Abolitionist understand freedom

to the despondent man



(abolitionist of slavery)



anyway, aside from that, i think the review is very good and i like the segment idea!

Of all the Rancid songs i've heard, I think Rwanda is my least favorite.

In "Meteor of War" Tim is screaming John Brown, but in his horribly obnoxious, slurred voice that makes it sound much more like "Jaaaaww Brrrrrraaaaaaeeeewwwwwnnn"
