I should probably hear this. I've heard its very similar to their first full length (which I love). Any truth?

"Meteor of War"
the song would mean more if you knew what it was about and who John Brown was, i only found out recently and it has taken on new meanings; john brown was one of the people who risked his life to help abolish slavery.. the first few lines of the song tell us that:
John brown set the tone
he was a meteor in a guilty land
Abolitionist understand freedom
to the despondent man
(abolitionist of slavery)
anyway, aside from that, i think the review is very good and i like the segment idea!

In "Meteor of War" Tim is screaming John Brown, but in his horribly obnoxious, slurred voice that makes it sound much more like "Jaaaaww Brrrrrraaaaaaeeeewwwwwnnn"

There's two kinds of Rancid fans, the ones who understand this is the band at their absolute peak and the ones who are wrong
